Feb 28, 2020

This week I sit down with Celebrity Trainer, Best Selling Author and Entrepreneur, Dolvett Quince.

Dolvett is a NYT Bestselling Author, International Keynote Speaker, Celebrity Fitness Trainer and Personal Development Expert with 20+ years of experience empowering people to turn potential into strength. With expertise in self-love, healthy wealth and fitness, he’s coached people from all walks of life, and is most recognized for his 7 seasons as a trainer on NBC’s TV show, “The Biggest Loser.”

Through books, keynotes and guest appearances, Dolvett helps people everywhere overcome self-doubt by giving them a clear vision, growth mindset and practical system to design their best path forward. His mission is personal, as his own narrative’s theme is overcoming challenges, finding forgiveness and building mental and physical strength.

His backstory started with an abusive family in the projects of Connecticut where fear dominated his upbringing until one day, when God’s whisper became louder than man’s words, he looked fear in the face—starting with his father—and forgave. Dolvett’s fortitude started him on a path towards emotional healing and leveraging natural gifts, inspiring a mission to help others do the same.

Dolvett’s first book, “The 3-1-2-1 Diet: Eat and Cheat Your Way to Weight Loss” became an instant NYT bestseller with its unconventional approach to reduce fat and gain muscle. His second book, “Work Out the Doubt,” slated for end of 2019, will guide readers in improving their health in all aspects of life.

An internationally respected charismatic speaker, Dolvett engages diverse audiences through conference keynotes and online masterclasses on the topics of personal identity, business development, fitness science and emotional intelligence, and is a Contributor on CNN and other nationally syndicated news shows.

In this episode, we got deep into his journey and how he overcame the adversity of his childhood to use it to better himself and others around him. We talked about the importance of prayer, inner circle, mindset and of course fitness in order to achieve purpose, promise and prosperity in life. He provides tangible and easily digestible tactics to transform your mindset for the next time you are faced with adversity. We also of course cover life after the Biggest Loser and transitioning into entrepreneurship and other endeavors.
