How to Break Free From Your Past For Good

Joining me on the show today is Bizzie Gold.

Labeled the millennial voice of personal development, Bizzie’s efforts are towards changing our cultural view on mental health and helping people rewire their thinking to become the best version of themselves.

Bizzie has featured on major mainstream media platforms to discuss her unique and sustainable approach to mental health.

She’s been praised globally for the swift breakthroughs she helps her clients achieve during their healing journey.

Bizzie’s life journey.

How you handle adversity, according to Bizzie, comes down to how you were raised by your parents.

Bizzie’s parents were ever positive and taught her to never be afraid of expressing herself and what she thought.

They raised her to be a self-reflective and a confident go-getter in life.

For this reason, Bizzie has always believed in her skills and what she is capable of accomplishing.

In fact this mindset has been the key to her success. Every time she’s faced with a problem, Bizzie is at her mental best and drafts the best ideas and solutions to what she’s going through.

She has learned and mastered the art of staying calm and thinking clear when she’s in the eye of a storm. She yearns for obstacles, as they help her dig deep and find the best version of herself.

Buti Yoga.

With approximately 6,000 instructors in 35 countries, Buti yoga is a global brand that Bizzie uses to spread her mental, physical and spiritual healing techniques.

Buti Yoga, comes from an Indian Rothi word which means something that’s hidden away or kept secret.

In our consumer driven society, a lot of people are obsessed with finding some kind of trick, cure or gadgets to improve the quality of their lives. However, the simple truth is that tapping in and resolving what’s inside us is the key to a better and sustainable lifestyle.

Only deep self discovery can ignite the flame of bringing permanent change and habits in your daily life.

In Buti Yoga, Bizzie teaches people how to take a full grasp of what’s happening in their bodies as they’re progressing and use it to fuel their healing journey.

Breaking the victim mentality.

A lot of therapy models have sprouted up over the years. Bizzie’s model works on the basis of tapping into the subconscious traumatic patterns and starting the healing process from there.

Bizzie helps her patients learn how to catch their intrusive thoughts when they occur and restructure them in order to build a final layer to completely change who they are, all while still being their authentic selves.

A lot of our subconscious brain patterns are anchored between the age of 2-5 years. That’s the reason why so many people are stuck in a loop of blaming their personality as the reason why they act or react in a certain way. ‘I’m an angry person, it’s just the way I am’

Such people respond on autopilot rather instead of responding to a situation based on their current environment and stimuli.

In her break therapy method, Bizzie helps her clients take a deep dive into their personality and find the actions that trigger the subconscious pattern of judging the current situation through the lens of the past.

Structured container

Part of Bizzie’s healing therapy module is creating a highly structured environment with different tools that force her patients to get triggered and react.

Bizzie then measures how you respond to the different triggers

.

Once the reactions are measured. Bizzie teaches her patients how to map out and understand themselves better through the emotional trigger and reaction that occurred.

What makes this method so effective is that all the different tools used in the structured environment make sure that you’re honest not just with the facilitator, but your inner self too.

And no matter what, the end result is always the same. You come out knowing everything about yourself, including the truth that you’re not comfortable to address.

Owning up and taking full responsibility is also part of the healing process. Because a lot of people are comfortably addicted to the victim mentality and only point fingers to explain who  did them wrong.

By learning to break your emotional response under different environments, you can learn how to shift your perspectives and reflect on the facts before reacting to a trigger.

Bizzie, through the Eli Model teaches her patients how to interrupt their emotional response system with logic. This stops the flow of neuro-transmitters. Once this happens her patients can then tap into their logic and intuition in order to make a decision based on their current environment.

A lot of people try to run away or avoid their triggers. The truth is, you can never grow or learn to rewire your responses by hiding from your triggers.

The only solution to this is creating a solid plan and structure where you can rapidly trigger and repattern yourself.
