The Adversity Advantage with Doug Bopst

Mar 6, 2023

Today’s guest is Olivia Amitrano (Organic Olivia). Olivia is an herbalist, an entrepreneur, a blogger, and most notably an educator. You may recognize her as the founder and formulator behind Organic Olivia the brand or perhaps you’ve heard her voice as the host of the chart-topping podcast, "What’s the Juice." Organic Olivia started as a blog and quickly morphed into a fierce community of like minds on a divine path of learning, growing, and healing. We believe our greatest tools are traditional wisdom, herbal medicine and a brave willingness to explore our own behavior and psychology. Olivia is on a mission to understand the human condition while sharing both the present chapter of her life as well as the lessons she’s learned getting here. Peeling back the layers isn’t always pretty, but life is juicy and it’s worth the squeeze.

In today’s episode, we take a deep dive into Olivia’s story. We discuss how her parents getting sick and a spiritual experience transformed her relationship with herself, her fiancé and her family. We also discuss how constructive criticism has been instrumental in her healing journey, why changing your identity is so powerful when it comes to change, why she turned her back on wellness trends, how she changed her relationship with dopamine, overcame multiple addictions, and much more.
